Common Sense Gets You Better Skin
Good skin doesn’t necessarily come in a bottle no matter what television commercials would have you believe. The truth is that with just some basic common sense, you can have perfectly clean and clear skin. You can be sure that the men at the top of the companies that make these big bucks beauty products don’t want you to discover the truth. In this article we will teach you a few of the “common sense” solutions that you can use to increase the efficacy of your skin care routine.
A great piece of advice to always follow is to never spend enormous sums of money on skin care products that promise you the moon. Since you are only using these products for a few minutes each day, it makes no sense to spend excessive amounts of money on them. If you enjoy dumping your money down the bathroom sink, then go ahead and spend your money. The ingredients that you find in both expensive and inexpensive facial cleansers are usually the same. The extra cost that you will pay for any expensive skin care product is usually “justified” by the number of ingredients that are added. Even more skin care products may be necessary as some of the ingredients in expensive products may cause additional skin irritations.
Protect your lips. The skin on your lips is extremely thin, which means you need to take additional steps and preventative measures to keep them from cracking. To ensure the health of your lips, and protected them from UV light, use lip balm to keep them safe. There is no need to buy lipstick or glosses that cost too much money as it is not necessary. All you really need is UV protection in the form of chapstick. If you are looking for an affordable, but very useful product, choose Burt’s Bees for lip balm. Another great product, Softlips Lip protectors, has UV protection for under five dollars.
Remove hair from your face. By letting facial hair stay you’re expanding opportunities for clogged pores and other potential skin damage like acne. Who knew there was a reason for removing facial hair that goes beyond cosmetic? Don’t just shave it off though! Waxing and shaving aren’t nearly as effective at getting rid of facial hair and keeping it away as laser hair removal. There is also a lower risk of skin discoloration. Creams can be prescribed by dermatologists. This solution is costly however. For the most part, basic skin care is little more than common sense. It is good to be clean. Having too many products is a terrible idea. Always be on your defense when people try to sell you one of these products. Most of the time, these products are pointless to bother with. These products are simply items you do not need to purchase. As long as you have a naturally based skin care product, use that instead. Remember, common sense always wins!
